Benfica Lisbon vs FC Chelsea live 15 may 2013 final uefa chammions league

                                       Benfica Lisbon vs FC Chelsea
  UEFA Europa League Final
Match date: 15 May 2013 - Kick Off Time: 18:45 GMT
Venue: Amsterdam ArenA, Netherlands
 Referee:‬ B. Kuipers‎

Match Preview :

Just a year after winning the Champions League, Chelsea will now aim to lift the Europa League when they clash with Portuguese outfit Benfica tonight.

Chelsea reached the final after winning 2-1 in Switzerland against Basel before securing a 3-1 victory at home in their semi-final tie. But for Benfica, they had to come back against Turkish side Fenerbahce after losing the first leg 1-0 in Turkey before securing a 3-1 win on their own soil to book their spot in the final of the competition.

Benfica comes into this match with a defeat to Porto in their domestic comeptition. However, it has still been an impressive season for them as they have lost just five times in all competition. Benfica also managed 23 out of 29 wins in the Portuguese Superliga.

Chelsea meanwhile looks set to secure third place in the Premiership and a place in the Champions League next season. However, before Rafa Benitez leaves the club, with Real Madrid boss Jose Mourinho odds-on to replace Rafael Benitez at the end of the campaign, he will want to add to his cv the Europa League with Chelsea.

The two sides last met in the Champions League quarter-finals last season, with Chelsea winning 1-0 in Portugal before claiming a 2-1 victory at Stamford Bridge to book a last-four spot against Barcelona, in which they went on to win the title against Bayern Munich.

Team News :

Benfica Team News :
Benfica have no fresh injuries ahead of this match. However, Oscar Cardozo is expected to return to the side after a late appearance from the bench. Meanwhile, Andre Almeida is expected to shake off an injury but if he fails to recover, then Roderick will be on standby to start.
Nemanja Matic, should also start in the middle of midfield against his former club. And Nicolas Gaitan will join Eduardo Salvio and Lima in attack.

Chelsea Team News :
Chelsea could miss the services of Captain John Terry, who limped out of their 2-1 win over Aston Villa last weekend. But with Gary Cahill and former Benfica defender David Luiz forming a pair at the heart of the defence, the former England defender was not expected to start anyway if he had been fit.

Meanwhile, Victor Moses is also pushing for a start in this match. Howwever, the former Wigan Athletic winger is expected to be named on the bench with Brazilian Oscar coming into the side to form a three-pronged attack with Juan Mata and Eden Hazard

Possible lineups

Benfica: Artur; Pereira, Luisao, Garay, Almeida; Matic, Perez; Gaitan, Lima, Salvio; Cardozo

Juventus vs Cagliari live 11 may 2013 - Italian Serie A

Juventus vs Cagliari - Italian Serie A
                               Match date: 11 May 2013
                             Kick Off Time: 16:00 GMT
                           Venue: Juventus Stadium - Tori
                                   Referee:‬ G. Calvarese‎

While Cagliari goes into this match safe in mid-table, Juventus are keen to better their club points record.

Juventus won their ninth match in a row when they beat Atalanta in midweek. Alessandro Matri scored the only goal that followed with their Scudetto celebrations after that. But now, Antonio Conte’s side are on track to beat the club’s highest season points tally which stands at 91 managed during the 2005-2006 campaign.

If Juventus can get six points from their last two matches means they can finish a point better then the 91 points achieved.

Meanwhile in midweek Cagliari lost at home to Parma. With 11 minutes left on the clock they conceded a goal courtesy of Aleandro Rosi to go down 1-0. And since their Serie A is already secured, they are now winless in their last four matches. As it is now, Cagliari are 11th and have assured a mid-table finish.

When they clashed at Turin, Juventus have won 18 times, Cagliari winning two times, but last season it finished in a draw and they also drew a total of 12 times.

Team News :

Juventus News :
Paul Pogba and Andrea Pirlo are suspended, while Gianluigi Buffon, Andrea Barzagli, Kwadwo Asamoah and Nicklas Bendtner are to be rested with slight injuries. Simone Pepe is also out of this clash.

Cagliari Team News :
Francesco Pisano is the only player absent. Davide Astori and Mauricio Pinilla return to the squad having missed their last match with Parma.

Possible lineups

Juventus : Storari; Caceres, Bonucci, Chiellini; Isla, Giaccherini, Marrone, Marchisio, Peluso; Quagliarella, Matri

Cagliari: Agazzi; Perico, Rossettini, Astori, Murru; Ekdal, Conti, Nainggolan; Cossu; Pinilla, Ibarbo

Espanyol vs Real Madrid live 11 may 2013 la liga

Espanyol vs Real Madrid - Spanish Primera Division

It seems increasingly likely that the Jose Mourinho era at Real Madrid will be coming to an end at the conclusion of this season and I am sure he will want to go out with a couple more wins under his belt. The whole reason that Mourinho was brought to the Spanish capital was to return to the Champions League to the trophy cabinet and it seems like the best he will be able to offer at the end of this season is the Copa Del Rey.

The La Liga title has been long gone for Real Madrid after a really poor start to the season and then they suffered the disappointment of falling a little short in the Champions League when losing to Borussia Dortmund in the Semi Final earlier this month.

It hasn't seemed to have affected Real Madrid in their domestic League where they have a 9-3-5 record away from home, but importantly have won 5 of their last 7 on their travels including 4 of their last 5. The win at Atletico Madrid in their last away game all but secured Real Madrid their place as second in the Spanish La Liga table.

Any time that a Real Madrid side travels to Barcelona, there will be a lot of interest, although visiting the second club in that city is not the same as playing at the Nou Camp. Espanyol have been inconsistent at home all season and they are just 6-6-5 here while they have actually conceded more goals than they have scored.

Espanyol have actually failed to win any of their last 4 home games, although they had been unbeaten in 9 in a row before losing 0-1 to Granada in their latest home game.

A bigger worry is the struggles they have had whenever Real Madrid have visited in recent seasons. These sides drew 2-2 in Madrid earlier this season, but Espanyol have lost 4 in a row at home against Real Madrid and they have failed to score in any of those losses.

Chelsea vs Basel live 2 may 2013 uefa europa league

    Chelsea vs Basel
UEFA Europa League: semi-final, 2nd leg
    Match date: 2 May 2013
    Kick Off Time: 20:05 GMT
    Venue: Stamford Bridge, England
    Referee:‬ J. Eriksson‎

Chelsea have one foot in for a second consecutive European cup final ahead of their Europa League semifinal second leg against FC Basel on May 2. Their 2-1 victory in Switzerland has given them the aggregate and away-goal advantage. Basel will need to score two without reply to advance, a task made all the more difficult as the Blues have not failed to score at home since a 1-0 defeat to QPR on January 9.
Attendance at Stamford Bridge has been poor for the Europa League ties, with 33,000 fans turning up for the quarterfinal against Rubin Kazan. The supporters are suffering a huge comedown from the high of 2012, but while they are disinterested in Europe's second-tier competition, the players are desperate to salvage some silverware from this season.
Ashley Cole is suspended for the home side, having picked up a yellow card in Switzerland so Ryan Bertrand will be recalled to the starting 11. Frank Lampard is just one goal behind the current club record of 202, and with Ramires having left their last match against Swansea City injured, the veteran midfielder could reach his milestone in this match.
With one eye on the Premier League fixture against Manchester United on Sunday, Rafael Benitez is likely to start with this lineup in a 4-2-3-1.

    Benfica vs Fenerbahce
UEFA Europa League: semi-final, 2nd leg
    Match date: 2 May 2013
    Kick Off Time: 20:05 GMT
    Stadium: Estadio da Luz, Lisbon
    Referee: Stephane Lannoy (France)

Benfica coach Jorge Jesus is confident his side can progress to the Europa League final when they face Fenerbahce on Thursday night.
The Portuguese league leaders trail 1-0 from the first leg in Turkey thanks to Egemen Korkmaz's goal and are fortunate not to be further behind after being dominated for large parts of the match at the Sukru Saracoglu Stadium.
The hosts hit the woodwork three times, including once from the penalty spot, as they looked to put the tie to bed, but Jesus' men held on to a one-goal deficit and the coach is confident that they can make it to the final in Amsterdam.
"It is a result that is dangerous but also gives confidence that we can turn it around," he told a press conference.
"We have some experience of these matches in the Europa League and the Champions League so we are calm.
"We will not change anything that we have done throughout this Europa League campaign. We trust and hope that the fans will also help us."
The Turkish side have a formidable record away from home in this season's competition and have yet to taste defeat, while they claimed an impressive win in Marseille in the group stages.
They also held Lazio to a 1-1 draw at the Stadio Olimpico in the second leg of their quarter-final, but Barcelona are the only visitors to have claimed a win at the Estadio da Luz this season and Jesus believes that could be key.
The Benfiquistas were in league action on Monday night against Maritimo and are facing a hectic end to the season with three league matches and a Portuguese Cup final to come as they try to complete a remarkable treble.
But striker Oscar Cardozo, who has scored 54 goals in 77 matches for the Eagles, does not believe that fatigue will be factor.
"We're fine," he added. "We have had many games but we feel good for tomorrow and I think we will all be 100%."
While Jesus may have a fully fit squad to choose on Thursday night, the coach will be without Dutch midfielder Ola John who received a yellow card in the first leg and is suspended.
The visitors will be without midfielder Mehmet Topal and striker Pierre Webo, who are both suspended, while ex-Chelsea

barcelona vs bayern munich live 1 may 2013 semi final uefa champions league

It has never been done in Champions League history, but when Barcelona welcome Bayern Munich to Camp Nou on Wednesday night they will have to overcome a 4-0 deficit to stay in the competition.
Competing in their sixth successive semifinal, the Catalans were taken apart in Germany by a Bayern side who showed them no mercy.
Goals from Thomas Muller (2), Mario Gomez and Arjen Robben sparked a week of talk debating whether this will be remembered as the time Barca passed the torch of dominance to the recently crowned Bundesliga champions.
On Monday morning, Catalan newspapers Sport and Mundo Deportivo led with headlines which focused on "The Comeback."
It all has a similar feel to the build up for the second leg against AC Milan in the last 16, except this time they're 4-0 down and it's Bayern—not the Italians—who are rolling into town.

    Predicted Teams
Barcelona: Victor Valdes; Dani Alves, Gerard Pique, Marc Bartra, Adriano; Sergio Busquets, Xavi Hernandez, Andres Iniesta; Pedro Rodriguez, David Villa, Lionel Messi.
Bayern Munich: Manuel Neuer; Phillip Lahm, Dante, Jerome Boateng, David Alaba; Bastian Schweinsteiger, Luiz Gustavo; Arjen Robben, Thomas Muller, Franck Ribery; Mario Mandzukic
